You see my friends, the word I am comes from the verb to be. For many of us who took foreign languages, we understand that verbs are often conjugated into correlation of their assignments and tenses. For example, to be is conjugated or changed when placed with the I into I am; You - you are; he, she it, they are (old black vernacular she be); we are, so on and so forth.
It is in these terms, we have to take under advisement on how we use these conjugations and the words we assign to them. it is typically a point of creation denoting a present condition, state, or situation, that often times is passing, but can often morph into a continual state. In this case, we have to be careful, not to agree with the situation, for we are not the situation, condition, or the state, but to be honest and simply state how we feel, but also keep a positive outlook.
We do not allow ourselves to speak over ourselves things that are attached with negativity or undesireable outcomes. We do not allow ourselves to talk, repeat or agree with other people's negative talk, gossip, or jealousies concerning us for that is not any of our business. Instead, we must learn to speak our truth and sometimes that is speaking our truth regardless of how we feel in that moment.
It takes confidence and a degree in faith to say you feel well in the midst of grief, losing a loved one or a tremendous or traumatic life change, but say it anyway. It may seem difficult speaking the correct, I am statements, when things are seemingly going in the opposite direction, but do it anyway.
